Darm activ* is a water-soluble, non-swelling dietary fibre product with inulin, lactulose and lactic acid bacteria to increase stool frequency and thus support healthy bowel function.

Darm activ* contains inulin, lactulose, 2 bifidus strains and 2 lactobacillus strains (Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacterium longum, Bifidobacterium lactis, Lactobacillus casei).
The inulin contained in Darm activ* is a natural substance from chicory and serves as a typical reserve substance for the plant. Chicory, such as chicory or radicchio, contain a particularly high proportion of inulin. For humans, inulin is a dietary fibre because it cannot be digested in the small intestine. Only in the large intestine can it be broken down by the bacteria of the healthy intestinal flora.
There it mainly serves as food for bifidus and lactobacilli. The desired metabolites of the intestinal bacteria that are produced when the inulin is broken down stimulate the movements of the large intestine, increase the frequency of stool frequency, and thus support normal bowel movements in a natural way. The intake of inulin thus contributes to normal intestinal function.

Dosage recommendation

Darm active* by Dr. Wolz is a soluble, non-swelling fibre product that can be stirred into cold drinks (such as a glass of still water) or soft, cold foods. Due to the microbiological principle of action, the consumption of Darm activ* should be gradually increased. Start with one measuring spoon (approx. 6 g) and individually increase the daily amount, e.g. B. one more spoon every week until you feel the optimal effect. The daily recommendation is 3 level measuring spoons (= 19 g), which you add to 200 ml of liquid of your choice or 200 g of soft food and stir well until the powder has dissolved. Increasing too quickly can lead to flatulence, since the colon flora has not yet adapted to Darm activ*.
